Character Name: Obituary
Class: Mage :mage:
Spec: Frost

Name?
Eduard
char: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/a ... ary/simple

Age? (18+ Only).
32

Nationality?
Estonian

We are a very sociable group and playing as a team is absolutely essential to us, Have you got Teamspeak3 and can you communicate clearly in English?
Yes of course.

AFX raids 2 to 3 times a week on a flexible raid schedule. We do signups for the week ahead and choose the 2 or 3 days that are most suitable i.e where 10 have signed up.... (Never Friday or Saturday). Are you ok with this?
2-3 a week is perfect. Can raid more during progress stages.

Do you know or have any friends currently in the guild?
Nope

How did you find out about us? and what do you expect from our guild?
Found out about teamafx in the WoW forums. I expect to raid.

Why have you Geared/Gemmed/Enchanted in a particular way? Explain?
This questions is probably a bit outdated. At the moment all the gear/gems and enchants are to get more multistrike (as a frost mage).

We raid 10 man's only and offspecing/alts is extremely desirable to us? What is your offspec and is it well geared? Do you have any Alts?
At the moment only my mage is 100. 4 low lvl alts with garrisons to farm resources. Will make an alt lvl 100 if there is need for that.

What guild were/are you in previously/currently? Reasons for Leaving?
I have been in Kalevlased since 2005. It's an Estonian guild.

Raiding experience? (MoP only)
I only raided actively for 1 month after MoP came out (we cleared normal and killed a few bosses in heroic in that time).
in WOD have killed 6 bosses in normal.
I was raiding very active since vanilla until Cataclysm. Quit Wow 2 months after Cata was out and have been playing on and off ever since. Now planning to take it seriously again.

We encourage members to actively use the forums, are you happy to do so?
Oh yes

Post a link to a screenshot of your UI (imgur links only please)
Currently at work, don't have access to Wow.

Post a link to any previous WoL Raid Reports of DPS/HPS? (Optional)
Not Completed By Applicant

Any Final Words? (Your chance to to tell us a bit about you)
I have been gaming online since 2001 and I handle stress very well. Always looking to improve and take the maximum out of the class.

Hi buddy,

Thanks for taking the time to apply. Sorry about the questions being slightly out of date, thought they had been updated!

Looks good from me, appears to be on the right lines of what I know of mages. Previously LOGS from your kills in HM would be beneficial to see how you fare in raiding environment.

I'm curious why you are leaving a guild you've been in since 2005? Just fancied a change?

Regarding your friends interested in joining, if they do a forum post we will consider! however we do currently have a ret and a warrior raiding.

Happy to offer a trial - lets see what the other lads say.

Leaving my old guild because I want a change, want to join international guild.
I can't find the old logs...I am always near the top in dps meters and it's very rear that I lose to other mages who are similarily geared.

I would also like to know about your raiding schedule: what days are raiding days and how long are the raids?

okay mate,

We raid 8/8.30-12.00 server time, for us english folk works out 7.30-10.30 roughly. We are flexible, i.e if we think a progression boss will die we will stay for a little more etc etc.

We raid 3times a week usually, and we choose days based on peoples availability as we are all grown ups with real lives etc (sucks i know), the days we choose from our /wed/thur/sun ideally, with mon/tue being used at times if needed.

Seems fine to me. Happy for anyone that is available (and able to) invite them. I'm at work / nomming food until around 19:30ish in-game if it hasn't been done by then.

I have decided to quit. The guild didn't pass the trial I'm afraid.
