It seems to be some sort of transmission failure.
Browsed imdb earlier and got random html code instead of proper rendered pages.
Also it doesn't happen on all images. The reddit header being the stubborn one and still showing up corrupted.
After a bit of research I'd try installing CCleaner and delete IE's index.dat file from there... Looks like it worked for someone using XP that had the same problem.
