For some reason I don't hear that. I open the nokia software press connect to the internet and then it takes about 20 seconds, but if I disconnect and connect it takes 3 seconds =/

rofl, I have gone through some serious shit with BT. They capped me so badly that even my 56K modem I am currently using is faster. After about 20 complaints they did something. I am giving virgin a call sometime during the week, I can probably get all set up and have internet ready before BT even attempt to switch me on.

My new company speed sucks. It went from 300kb/s to 30kb/s, then in it went down to 2kb. And it stayed that way for 2 days. Now its 90kb/s.
I am so tired of this rollercoaster, I just want it finished.

ive heard virgin is shit down england way, dunno for sure, all i know is i get 2400kb/s and if i get more than 3 gig between 4 and 12pm they cap me too 500. took them 2 days to come and put it in and worked instantly ^^

the net we had with virgin was fucked in exeter, but that was when it was telewest.

After virgin took over we were notified of work on going, and i wouldnt complain about it after that. we had 20mb line same as random, it ran at taht speed at night, never in the day due to the high usage because it was a student area, the infrastructure couldnt keep it at full speed, but it never dropped below 4mb really after they fixed it.

In a larger city such as liverpool i imagine the infrastructure in place will be better than it was for exeter, so i can't see you having many issues with it. Might be worth looking around for reviews on virgin in that area.
