Though the actual drawing never ends up looking like the one in my mind, I put too high standards in my mind for stuff I cant even draw.

well added the first lot of colour, nothing much to it, just gotta do the eyes and the shading, oh and then a background... damnit i hate backgrounds, prolly do some kind of night scene this time

Just use gradient tool for a nice background.

You should do a drawing with a story. I am drawing a dude who hides behind a wall in a restaurant, while a person behind him tries to kill him. I've only drawn the first person so far, and I am pretty stuck.

But you should try it... or else Kidders gets it up the rectum.
