New PC for me, been wanting one for a while now as this one I'm using is starting to feel the strain even on simple games.

I've cheaped out on loads of stuff with this like:-

Going for the Non-Extreme rampage III board (I dont want 4 graphics cards anyways =P) not going for the Asus audiophile sound card (the Mobo has an soundblaster X-fi in it anyways so im in no hurry =P) not getting any optical drives (I have 5 DVD writers just sittting around in my room doing nothing and Blu-ray is overrated in my opinion although i'll prolly eventually get one =P) and ive skimped out on getting windows pre-installed which has cost me my free overclocking privileges =(. I was going to go for the 128gb SSD but then realised that was like an extra £160 so I cheaped out on that and got the 64gb one instead, i have 2TB of HDDs lying around and im prolly only going to use it for windows anyways =P

Only expense Ive really went for is the new Nvidia 580 card and a new psu (doubt the 600w one im using now is gonna be sufficient) as I fancy getting a DX11 card so i might as well go for the best out atm and I'm not a fan of ATI cards although ive head awesome stuff about the ATI Radeon HD 5970 especially since you can get it in a 4gb card although i doubt im gonna pay an extra £360 for that monster =P

Thing is though even cheaping out on loads of stuff, its still gonna end up costing me best part of £1500 about £500 of that is the gfx card =(. I could save a ton by just by not getting a new gfx card, using my 260gtx and saving £70 on the psu. I dunno will wait and see what the price is like when i go to order next week =D
