I liked the idea of not having a tank/healer/dps setup when I intially heard about it, but after watching TB's latest explorable dungeon mode video it all just looks a bit chaotic and hack and slash. i.e someone charges in does a bit of damage using defensive abilites/allied buffs dodges back out and heals up, whilst the process starts over again with the next person in line. Is this fun? Is this better than the holy trinity setup? watching it, it certainly wasn't, it all just seems a bit of a mess to me. I dunno if this was just how the developers were playing it, but I don't feel any sense of skill or timing being used to good effect. All am getting from this video is, they've dumbed down the bosses in order to accommodate the "any profession can play any role". Encounters where you activate spikes etc are just boring quite frankly aswell.
is it just me? or do others feel the same?
This is exactly what I've been rambling about for months!
Fair enough man, you did mention it to me a while back, but this is the first video released of the hardmode dungeons to gauge it.
Still, I want to play it myself to get a feel for it before writing it off after seeing one youtube clip.
