The CSS Server

So i've been thinking about it for a while, and surf isn't really that great anymore, no-one seems to be making imba maps for it like they were a year or 2 ago =(

So i might be dropping it. Choices are as follows i guess.

1. Leave it be and go emo

2. Deathmatch dust2/otehr normal maps

3. normal dust2 24/7

4. normal random map rotation.

5. Get rid completely

atm i'm leaning towards 5, maybe 3

Thoughts?

Death mach on a dd2 i think sucks.
Its to many people that have it and its getting boring... so i go for normal dd2 only

I'd say L4D if any.

I literally never EVER play CSS anymore.

Saying that I havnt been on L4D in ages as my CPU melted and this heap of shit Celeron D can't even do youtube + msn cams to loli so...

But L4D is epic and Ill tank you all up when I get this fixed.

As discussed with Jonnie, if the server is to stay then I will take full responsibility for the payment etc. Also, if it goes to L4D then I am happy and also help with the payment. Either one of those two im happy with, anything IE goes to dust2 then I am not interested.

The only problem I can see with a L4D server is its 4 (or 8 on versus) maximum so not everyone will benefit from it really.

Ive had thoughts, reduce the slot numbers for this server and let me keep it. I will pay for it. Then you start your own L4D server at least then we all got something from it. At least then I pay less for the server and also pay towards to L4D as well. Hows that sound?

@Jonnie, you wont need to even think about spending a penny on the surf server then. All I will need is your support in maintaining it when there is a problem.

Keep it, But change it to a normal server, Or leave it like it is now. Still there are quite less players on it. But im still there tho.

reducing the size is something i manged to completely overlook actually. Don't ask how cause i don't know, stupidity could well be the cause.

So yea reducing it to 18 slots or so and leaving as is, then getting l4d as a side, cost will be about the same so its an option.
